I have hairy underarms and it's hard to shave? ...?

Hi, I%26#039;m a 16 year old female with white skin and dark brown, thick, bushy hair.


Shaving my legs is ok but when it comes to shaving my armpits it%26#039;s really hard to. I use a nice creamy shower shaving cream and a normal shaver but I either cut my skin and get little red dots or I shave it and there is lots of prickly black stubble.


I can never wear a top with short sleeves as it looks disgusting when I lift my arms up.


If anyone can help at all it would be most appreciated!!

Yes, it hurts..but it lasts longer and you get better results.

If not, waxing is a good option.
Reply:Ok sweetie here%26#039;s what to do. : P Get a either a smaller razor such as one made for bikini lines, or get one with a triple blade and lots of soapy cushioning to make the glide smooth. Use a rich shaving cream and shave as closely as you can as possible. Afterwards apply aloe vera gel to your armpits and let it sit and dry before you put on deodorant. This is very important in preventing red bumps.

Reply:Start waxing. The more you do it, the finer your hair will grow back. It will probably hurt a lot the first time, but after that it will be easy.
